There’s something ritualistic about making a good cocktail. Measuring, stirring, garnishing—it’s a little moment of care in your day. And when your cocktail happens to be laced with plants that love your immune system? Even better.
This Elderberry Manhattan is a botanical twist on the classic, subbing in our Elderberry Apéritif Syrup in place of sweet vermouth, and rounding it out with a dropperful of Adaptogen Chai Bitters for just the right amount of warming spice. It’s equal parts comfort and complexity, ideal for a slow evening wind-down or a cozy gathering with friends.
Why we love elderberry:
Elderberries have been used for generations to support immune health, especially during seasonal transitions. Here’s why they’re a favorite herbal ally:
Rich in antioxidants — particularly anthocyanins, which help protect cells
Immune-supportive — known to stimulate cytokine production and support the body’s natural defenses
Anti-inflammatory — may help soothe cold-like symptoms
Ingredients
1.5 oz Bourbon Whiskey
1 oz Elderberry Aperitif Syrup
1 dropperful Adaptogen Chai Bitters

Step One
Combine bourbon, Elderberry Aperitif Syrup, and Adaptogen Chai Bitters over ice in a mixing glass.
